Dealz celebrates its 2nd anniversary in Ireland by opening its 30th store and announcing 10 new stores, creating over 250 Irish jobs.
Ireland’s discount retailer Dealz today (27th September) celebrated its second anniversary of trading in Ireland by opening its 30th store and announcing plans to open an additional 10 Irish stores in the new financial year (April 2014), creating 250 new Irish jobs.
The newly opened Dealz is located at Galway Shopping Centre, Galway, and has almost 9,000sq ft retail space. The opening of Dealz Galway has created 30 new jobs and brings the total number of jobs created in Ireland to date to over 750.
Since launching in Ireland in late September 2011, Dealz has invested over €8.3 million into the Irish economy. Today’s announcement will mean a further commitment of over €1.75 million over the next 15 months. Dealz are also on course to open another store in Ireland by the end of this financial year (March 2014) as well as extending an existing Dealz store.

Since its launch, Dealz has proven hugely popular with Irish consumers and has welcomed over 13.6 million customers in store to date.
