Barry became Managing Director in September 2017 having joined Poundland as Trading Director in November 2016.
He most recently occupied Executive Board roles with Asda Stores Ltd as Chief Customer Officer and Chief Merchandising Officer.
Prior to this, Barry has held senior positions within the Commercial Functions of Musgrave Retail Partners, The Co-operative Group and Kwik Save Stores.
Tim joined Poundland in January 2019 as Trading Director with responsibility for buying, merchandising & supply chain, QA, marketing and social media.
Tim has a wealth of experience in leading trading teams across the value retail sector. His most recent role was as Commercial Director at The Original Factory Shop, before which he was non-food Trading Director at Morrisons supermarkets where he established the clothing brand, Nutmeg.
Prior to that Tim spent 18 years at value fashion retailer Peacocks in several senior Buying & Merchandising positions and ultimately as Managing Director. He began his career with buying roles at Poundstretcher and Grattan mail order.
Dave joined Poundland in July 2018 and has responsibility for the Finance, Property, Legal, Procurement and Internal Audit departments.
Prior to joining Poundland, he was the Chief Financial Officer of The Original Factory Shop and previously the Group Commercial Director of JD Sports. Dave is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having trained with KPMG where he became a Director in their Transaction Services practice specialising in retail and consumer markets. After leaving practice Dave has been the Finance Director/CFO of several major retailers in both the private and public arenas, including Focus Wickes and JJB Sports plc.
Tim joined Poundland in November 2016 as Supply Chain and Distribution Director with responsibility for all warehousing, distribution, ocean freight and the demand planning / forecasting and merchandising functions within Poundland.
More recently, Tim was Supply Chain & Logistics Director for Pepco Group where he oversaw the Logistics operations within the UK and France, where he still maintains his responsibilities.
Tim has gained a breadth of Supply Chain, Distribution and Retail experience during his 20+ year career which started in Safeway as a general assistant. Prior to this Tim headed up Supply Chain within Sainsbury’s, and also held the role of Supply Chain and Distribution Director for Hobbycraft.
Retail & Transformation Director
Austin joined Poundland in July 2017 as Retail Director, becoming Retail & Transformation Director in January 2021 with responsibility for the growth, development and expansion of our formats in Western Europe, and the establishment of an International platform for our brands.
Austin has a wealth of international and global experience spanning over 45 countries and a variety of sectors. Joining Poundland from Yum Brands, he has held positions as Sr. Global Director of M&A, Business Development Director, and Marketing Director for Central and Eastern Europe, as well as a series of senior operational roles. Prior to that Austin also held roles with Phones 4u as Head of Retail, and Dixons Group in a series of Divisional retail roles.
Divisional MD – Poundland, Dealz and PGS
Sean joined the Poundland board in December 2016. His career in the Group spans 16 years, covering roles in manufacturing, discount and value retail areas of the group.
He joined the group as GM of Pepkor Clothing in 2001, moving on to take on the role of Merchandise Director of Pep Stores in 2002. Subsequently he joined Ackermans in 2011 as Managing Director before moving to Pepco Group in December 2016.
Currently Sean is Divisional MD for Poundland, Dealz and PGS covering responsibility for the Poundland Group including Dealz international and PEP&CO. He is also responsible for the global sourcing operation PGS.
