Dealz will be running a number of fundraising events in store to support its chosen charity of the year, Make-A-Wish®.
About Make-A-Wish
Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children aged between 3 and 17 years living with a life-threatening medical condition in order to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since its inception in 1992, Make-A-Wish has granted wishes for over 1,700 brave children in Ireland.
A wish granted is true magic for the child, providing respite from their normal routines of hospitals, doctors and treatment. We believe a wish can have a lasting impact on a child’s life. A wish involves the whole family and can create moments of joy – and memories that last a life-time.
What kind of wishes can Make-A-Wish fulfil?
Wishes fall into the following categories:
I wish to be… [a vet, a navel officer]
I wish to have… [a drum kit, a garden den]
I wish to go… [to Disneyland, swimming with dolphins]
I wish to meet… [John Cena, Cake Boss]
